Purse stolen: Patricia Arnold of Canonsburg told Canonsburg police Tuesday her purse was stolen from her room at Townview Health Center while she was a patient at Canonsburg General Hospital.

Theft, receiving charges: Jessica Ann Naber, 28, of 938 Fallowfield Ave., Charleroi, was arrested Wednesday by Carroll police on a warrant for charges of felony retail theft and receiving stolen property stemming from a Nov. 20 incident at Giant Eagle, Fisher Heights. She was with a man when they reportedly stole items from the store. She is accused of stealing five items valued at $8.45. Naber has prior retail theft convictions, police said. She was arraigned before District Judge Jay Weller and placed in the Washington County jail on $10,000 bond.

Batteries stolen: Eleven Deka construction batteries were reported stolen Tuesday from equipment owned by Alex E. Paris Co. of Atlasburg while it was located off Route 221 near Hull Run Road, Washington Township. Anyone with information on the theft is asked to call state police at 724-627-6151.

One injured: Joseph Petek, 58, of Jefferson, Greene County, was slightly injured Monday when his vehicle was hit from behind by a pickup truck driven by Duane Devecka, 61, of Fredericktown, on Jefferson Road near Goslin Road, Jefferson Township.

Paraphernalia charge: Greyson L. Bellaire, 21, of 214 Western Ave., Houston, will be charged by McDonald police with possession of drug paraphernalia stemming from a traffic stop early Sunday on East Lincoln Avenue, McDonald. The charge will be sent by summons from the office of District Judge Valarie Costanzo.

Harassment charge: Kimberly McIntyre, 45, of 204 Fairmont St., McDonald, was charged Sunday with harassment by McDonald police stemming from alleged harassing telephone calls and text messages directed at Amy Hamilton of McDonald over the last week. The charge will be sent by summons from the office of District Judge Valarie Costanzo.

Woman faces charges: Karen Piccione, 59, of 209 First Ave., Monongahela, will be charged by Monongahela police with open lewdness, public drunkenness and disorderly conduct after an incident Tuesday afternoon. Police were called about 4 p.m. for a report of a woman trying to get inside a home on Main Street. Police were then called to the 7-Eleven for a report of a woman inside the store. When police arrived at the store, they were directed to the pumps. Piccione was near the pumps, where she pulled down her pants and urinated, police said. She was placed in the Washington County jail on a probation detainer. The charges will be sent by summons from the office of District Judge Mark Wilson.

DUI, fleeing charges: Jules Branch, 25, of 423 High St., Monongahela, was arrested early Wednesday by Monongahela police after allegedly failing to stop for officers. Police tried to pull him over about 2:15 a.m. when they saw him driving in the 200 block of Main Street. Police said he went down alleys and side streets in an attempt to get away but eventually was stopped on East Main Street near Factory Street. He was taken to Monongahela Valley Hospital, where blood was drawn to determine his alcohol level. Branch was arraigned before District Judge Mark Wilson on charges of driving under the influence of alcohol, fleeing or attempting to elude police and several traffic violations. He was placed in the Washington County jail on $5,000 bond.

Dirt bike stolen: Margaret Livingood of 2 Grove St. told North Franklin police a blue and white Yamaha dirt bike was stolen from outside her home last week.

DUI, other charges: Matthew Ryan Harvey, 25, of 39 Shannon Ave., Washington, was charged Monday with DUI, reckless endangerment, failing to wear protective equipment and several traffic violations stemming from an April 24 traffic stop. North Franklin police saw him driving a motorcycle at a high speed in the 1500 block of West Chestnut Street about 2 a.m. Neither he nor his passenger, Dajlea Tarnik, 22, of Carnegie, was wearing eye protection. His blood-alcohol content was more than 2 1/2 times the 0.08 pecent limit presumed for intoxication. Charges will be sent by summons from the office of District Judge Robert Redlinger.

Retail theft charge: Angela M. Bell, 24, of 275 Springfield Ave., Washington, was charged by North Franklin police with retail theft and possessing instruments of a crime. She reportedly had wire cutters that she used to remove tags from clothing she is accused of stealing from Macy’s, Washington Crown Center, Tuesday. Charges will be sent by summons from the office of District Judge Robert Redlinger.

Assault, mischief charges: Nicole R. Yoders, 24, of 2779-C S Bridge Road, Washington, was charged by North Franklin police with simple assault, harassment and criminal mischief. She is accused of assaulting Erica Carter, 29, of Avella, the night manager at McDonald’s, 1294 W. Chestnut St. Yoders was a passenger in a vehicle that stopped at the drive-through window. The occupants were apparently angry because they had to wait while the register was closed out. When Carter went out to the vehicle to give them coupons for being inconvenienced, Yoders reportedly got out of the vehicle and punched the manager, breaking her glasses.

DUI charge: Mario J. Pellegrini, 20, of 220 DiCio St., North Strabane, was charged by North Strabane police with DUI, leaving the scene of a crash and reckless driving for allegedly crashing into two vehicles parked near his home April 1. The charges will be sent by summons from the office of District Judge Jay Weller.

DUI charge: Steven J. Toth, 39, of 309 Hart St., Houston, was charged last week by state police with DUI stemming from a Jan. 7 crash at the north junction of interstates 79 and 70, South Strabane. The charge will be sent by summons from the office of District Judge Jay Weller.

Charged in crash: Jennifer M. Grace, 29, of 512 Duquesne Ave., Canonsburg, was charged last week by state police with DUI and several traffic violations stemming from a Dec. 9 crash on Interstate 79 northbound, north of the Racetrack Road exit, South Strabane. The charges will be sent by summons from the office of District Judge Jay Weller.
