U.S. Rep. Tim Murphy, R-Upper St. Clair, will hold his annual Congressional Art Competition at Washington Crown Center in North Franklin Township from 1 to 3 p.m. Saturday.

Each year, members of Congress are asked to submit one piece of artwork that best represents their district to be displayed in the walkway between the Capitol Building and the House office buildings for a period of one year. Attendees will have the opportunity to view the entire showcase of artwork by high school students all across the 18th District. This year, 21 different high schools submitted a record 54 pieces of artwork to the competition. A panel of professional local artists will judge the entries.
