A Donegal Township man was ordered to stand trial Wednesday for allegedly assaulting a boy over a five-year period at a house in Claysville.

David Alan Rogers, 47, of 35 Interstate Drive, was ordered held for court by District Judge Curtis Thompson on charges of involuntary deviate sexual intercourse, indecent assault, endangering the welfare of children and corruption of minors.

The boy told Donegal police and members of the Washington County sex crimes unit that the assaults began when he was 5 and took place between 2003 and 2008.

Rogers remains in Washington County Jail on $100,000 bond.
