TIONESTA — A preliminary hearing is slated Tuesday for a man charged in the stabbing deaths of a man and a woman found at a mobile home in northwestern Pennsylvania last month.

Thirty-eight-year-old Scott A. Black of Butler is charged in Forest County with criminal homicide and aggravated assault.

Authorities allege that he killed 42-year-old Marcelle Edwards of Tionesta and 43-year-old Donald Shay of Leechburg.

Police say the victims were found dead April 27 of multiple stab wounds at the mobile home just outside Tionesta.

Coroner Norman Wimer said last week that Black was a former boyfriend of Edwards and there had been an ongoing dispute between him and the victims.
