The state Department of Transportation is advising motorists that beginning the evening of May 13 through the morning of May 18, there will be a closure on Interstate 70 between the eastbound and westbound ramps of the Jessop Place exit for beam erection on the Sheffield Street Bridge.

This will include nightly interstate closures from 8 p.m. to 6 a.m.

Interstate 70 will be open daily to normal traffic flow. The detour will require motorists to exit Interstate 70 at Jessop Street, cross over Sheffield and re-enter using the entrance ramp in order to bypass bridge construction. Both eastbound and westbound traffic will be using this cross-over.
