OLMSTED FALLS, Ohio (AP) – Police say they’ve made an arrest in the slaying of a 20-year-old Cleveland man whose body was tied to a concrete block and steel pipe and dumped in a retention pond about 15 miles outside the city.

Police in Olmsted Township and the FBI Fugitive Task Force said they arrested a 36-year-old man at his Parma home Saturday, but he has not yet been charged.

The half-nude body of Carl Acoff was found in the pond April 17. Authorities used DNA to confirm his identity last week. He’d been reported missing March 27.

Authorities said Acoff had been stabbed multiple times.
