WAYNESBURG – A Clarksville man accused of disorderly conduct and resisting arrest was found not guilty Monday by a Greene County Court jury.

Scott A. Rolf, 42, of Clarksville, was arrested June 9 after being accused of causing a disturbance in Teagarden Homes.

A neighbor had called police about 11:30 p.m. complaining Rolf was shouting obscenities and making threats, according to the criminal complaint. State police responded to the call and asked Rolf to return to his home. They noted Rolf smelled of alcohol and had slurred speech.

Five minutes after leaving the scene, police received a call from the dispatcher about another disturbance involving Rolf and returned to Teagarden Homes, finding Rolf sitting outside his home.

Police said they attempted to arrest Rolf but he resisted and had to be taken to the ground.

The trial was before Judge Farley Toothman, who after receiving the jury verdict also found Rolf not guilty of the summary offense of public drunkenness.
