WAYNESBURG – Several criminal defendants pleaded guilty Wednesday before Greene County Judge Farley Toothman. They included:

Josie A. Haring, 19, of 205 Ridge Road, Jefferson; offenses – arson, criminal mischief; pleaded no contest to recklessly endangering another person; on Nov. 9, Haring started a fire in a barn on property owned by Daniel Loma; she told police she lighted some hay on fire in the barn and when that failed to catch, she lighted some more hay on fire; she also admitted smashing a deer camera on the property that might be used to identify her; sentence – 7 years of probation, $25,000 in restitution to Loma, 250 hours of community service.

Kimberly Anne Spitznogle, 45, of 159 Little Shannon Run Road, Mt. Morris; offenses – tampering with physical evidence; she pleaded no contest to hindering apprehension or prosecution; Spitznogle attempted to conceal a note carried by a man who attempted to rob the Belko Foods Store in Mt. Morris on Jan.14; a store video surveillance camera showed her using her foot to push the note under a cabinet; the note was not recovered; she admitted concealing the note, telling police she believed the robber might have been someone she knew; sentence – 2 years of probation, $300 fine.

Tonya Lee Williamson, 38, of 263 Hunting Hills Road, Dilliner; offenses – three counts each of possession with intent to deliver a controlled substance and possession of a controlled substance, two counts of criminal use of a communications facility; Williamson twice sold controlled substances to a confidential informant working with the Greene County Drug Task Force; on March 15, 2012, she sold the informant two Suboxone strips and two Xanax pills; on April 10, 2012, she sold the informant three Suboxone sublingual films; sentence – open plea; sentence to follow preparation of a pre-sentence report.

Rocco John Iacovone, 27, of Washington, formerly of Fairmont, W.Va., and Glendale, Ariz.; offenses – fleeing or attempting to elude police, recklessly endangering another person, six summary traffic violation; on Feb. 13, Iacovone led police on a high speed chase on Interstate 79 after he allegedly robbed a convenience store near Fairmont; state police had use a pit maneuver, bumping Iacovone’s vehicle to force him to stop; sentence – open plea, sentence following preparation of a pre-sentence report.

James Michael Ives, 32, of 33 Nottingham Drive, Belle Vernon; offense – disorderly conduct; a charge of resisting arrest withdrawn; Ives was arrested Jan. 3 after he refused to leave his wife’s apartment at the Parkview Knoll apartments in Cumberland Township; he struggled with officers who attempted to handcuff him; sentence – no further penalty; the court noted Ives had already served six days in jail.

Stephanie Nocole Victor, 21, of 272 East Lincoln St., Waynesburg; offenses – retail theft, third or subsequent offense; on May 20, 2012, Victor stole two rings, a pair of sunglasses and three pairs of underwear from the Walmart Store in Franklin Township; sentence – 30 days to 12 months in jail $250 fine, 75 hours of community service.
