Two Donora residents were arrested early Saturday by borough police in the heroin overdose death of a 55-year-old man.

James Darnell Foster, 21, and Maya Lawson, 30, are accused of selling stamp bags of heroin to Barry Daube. Minutes after using the heroin, Daube overdosed and died, police said. Foster also is accused of hiding 24 stamp bags in a pair of sweatpants and throwing the pants out the back door as police entered the front door with a search warrant.

The pair were arraigned before District Judge Jay Weller on charges, including drug delivery resulting in death. They were each placed in Washington County Jail on $100,000 bond.
