An Election Day luncheon/supper will be held from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. at the Whiteley Township Municipal Building, Kirby. The menu will include cream chicken sandwiches, homemade noodles, cabbage and noodles, ham barbecue sandwiches, sloppy Joes, hot dogs, potato casserole, cole slaw, macaroni salad, potato salad, baked goods and beverages. Prices range from 50 cents to $2. Proceeds benefit the Waynesburg Central High School girls’ softball team.

Country music will be featured from 7 to 10 p.m. Saturday at the New Freeport fire hall. Bands scheduled to appear are Country Pride and Country Sounds. Cost is $4, and the event is sponsored by the ladies auxiliary.
