CARMICHAELS – A Cumberland Township man charged with furnishing alcohol to a minor, disorderly conduct and harassment waived his right to a preliminary hearing Monday before District Judge Lee Watson.

Matthew Franklin Conard Jr., 45, of 207 4th St., Crucible, also had been charged with corruption of a minor; however, that charge was withdrawn by the Commonwealth, Watson said. Police allege Conard provided alcoholic beverages to an underage female. This occurred at a residence in Carmichaels in late November or early December, police said.
