A Roscoe man is wanted on an arrest warrant obtained Wednesday by Roscoe-Elco-Stockdale-Allenport regional police after officers allegedly found him with a brick of heroin and paraphernalia at his apartment earlier this month.
Brenen Casey Greer, 24, of 600 Furlong Ave., Apt. 310, allegedly was found with the drugs May 18 after police received a tip of possible drug activity. Officers Paul Rock and Anthony Mosco had the house under surveillance and said they saw two men leave the building and get into a car.
Police stopped the car. They said Greer, who was a passenger, was acting very nervous and moving around in the vehicle.
The driver, Zachary Buday, reportedly told police he was under the influence of heroin and did not want to go to jail. He gave police permission to search his vehicle, and they reported finding seven empty stamp bags of suspected heroin. Police said Buday also told them there were drugs at the apartment the two had just left.
Police said Greer agreed to allow officers to search his apartment and took officers to his room, where they said they found a brick of heroin containing 50 stamp bags, hallucinogenic mushrooms, syringes and other paraphernalia. Police also confiscated $205.
Police filed charges of possession and possession with intent to deliver heroin and possession of drug paraphernalia at the office of District Judge Larry Hopkins.
