A $500,000 Pennsylvania Lottery Cash 5 jackpot will be split and shared by winners on opposite sides of the state, one of them in the Washington area.

The jackpot-winning Cash 5 tickets for the Thursday drawing were sold at the Uni-Mart, 336 E. Maiden St., Washington, and a market in Monroe County.

Each ticket correctly matched all five balls, 02-09-23-25-33, to win individual prizes of $250,000, less 25 percent federal withholding. Each retailer will receive a $500 bonus for selling a winning ticket.

Lottery officials cannot confirm the identities of the winners until the prizes are claimed and the tickets are validated.
