Nine people were in the vehicle driven by 20-year-old Tyhuana Henley of Columbus.

Police said no one appeared to be wearing a seatbelt.

Eight of the occupants were transported to area hospitals and were in stable condition. An 8-year-old boy was killed. His name was not released.

The accident remains under investigation Sunday. It was unclear whether drugs or alcohol were a factor.
