Theft, receiving charges: Chad Abbott, 19, of 13 Hubbard Road, Burgettstown, was arrested Saturday on a warrant obtained by McDonald police on charges of theft and receiving stolen property. He is accused of stealing a mountain bike Aug. 22 from the home of Thomas McClelland, 1523 Main St., Burgettstown. The bike was later recovered. He was arraigned before District Judge Ethan Ward and released on $10,000 unsecured bond.

Harassment, mischief charges: Margaret Humbert, 44, of 290 Hutchinson Ave., Canonsburg, will be charged by Canonsburg police with harassment and criminal mischief after she allegedly threw a neighbor’s cellphone down the steps, breaking it, during an argument at their apartment building. The charges will be sent by summons from the office of District Judge David Mark.

Warrant arrest: Jeffrey D. Turner, 33, of 726 Chess St., Bridgeville, was arrested Saturday by state police after allegedly lying to a trooper about his identity during a June 4 traffic stop on Interstate 79 southbound near the Southpointe exit, Cecil. Police said Turner gave his brother’s name when he was charged with possession of marijuana, not wearing a seat belt and an equipment violation. Police said they learned his correct identity about six weeks after the stop. Turner also was charged with false identification to police and driving under suspension. He was arraigned before District Judge Ethan Ward and placed in Washington County jail on a $5,000 percentage bond.

Theft: Several showers, shower tub walls and a shower unit, all in boxes, were stolen from a home site in the Timber Run plan off Route 980 between Thursday and 10 a.m. Friday, township police said. Greg Dixon of Ryan Homes said the items are valued at $1,000.

Thefts from vehicles: A mini-laptop was stolen from one unlocked vehicle and credit cards and a debit card were stolen from a second vehicle at 527 Hahn Road, township police said. The thefts were reported at 8:52 a.m. Saturday.

Aggravated assault: Leon Petrick, 40, of 707 Morganza Road, was hit in the head with a beer bottle at 1:55 a.m. Sunday, township police said. An argument began in the VFW, 446 Georgetown Road, and spilled into the street, where Petrick was hit with the bottle, police said. Police continue to search for the person who struck Petrick, who was taken to St. Clair Hospital, Mt. Lebanon, for treatment. The hospital does not release patient information.

Camera stolen: A digital camera was stolen from a vehicle at an unknown location, township police said. Stu Harper of Chartiers Township said it may have been stolen when he parked at the Montour Trail entrance in Hendersonville to ride his bicycle for about 30 minutes, police said. The theft was reported at noon Monday.

Game player, games stolen: Paul T. Scagline, 26, of 219 Castner Ave., Donora, was arraigned Friday on a warrant on charges of theft and receiving stolen property filed by Charleroi Regional police. He is accused of stealing a Wii Nintendo game player and games Oct. 6 from Shyla Bradshaw and Kelli Pelzer, 322 Washington Ave., Charleroi. The items were sold at a Belle Vernon pawn shop. He was arraigned before District Judge Ethan Ward and released on $10,000 unsecured bond.

Paraphernalia, pills found: Andrew Lee Bish, 21, of Noblestown Road, McDonald, was charged Monday by McDonald police with disorderly conduct after he allegedly was found with suspected paraphernalia and two Vicodin pills for which he did not have a prescription during an Oct. 20 traffic stop on Washington Avenue, Midway.

Endangerment charges: Shannon Drake Skelly, 33, of 1209 Chess St., Monongahela, was arrested Monday on a warrant stemming from an Oct. 22 incident in which she allegedly chased her boyfriend through the house and then grabbed a knife in the kitchen. One of the small children who were in the home was nicked when he tried to get between the two adults, Monongahela police said. She was arraigned before District Judge Mark Wilson on charges of harassment, reckless endangerment, simple assault and endangering the welfare of children. She was placed in Washington County jail on $10,000 bond.

Probation arrest: Brad Behanna II, 20, of 403 Short St., New Eagle, was arrested Friday night by Monongahela police on an adult probation warrant after getting a tip he was at his home. Police found him hiding under a pile of dirty laundry. He was placed in Washington County jail on the warrant.

One injured: One driver complained of neck and back pain following a three-vehicle, rear-end collision just west of the East McMurray Road intersection with Hays Road at 2:55 p.m. Sunday, township police said. Donalyn Selinsky, 54, of 105 Bunker Hill Drive, Peters Township, was taken to St. Clair Hospital, Mt. Lebanon. The hospital does not release patient information. Police said Selinsky was driving the middle car. The other drivers, Donna Delestienne, 59, of 105 Pinecreek Drive, Venetia, and Shawn Heinrich, 36, of 456 N. Chestnut St., Carnegie, were not injured, police said. Police said Heinrich ran into the rear of Selinsky’s vehicle, which then hit Delestienne’s car.

Assault arrest: Jeffrey E. Duncan, 43, of 6617 Library Road, Union, was arrested Sunday by Southwest Regional police for allegedly assaulting his wife, Sharon Duncan. The two were reportedly arguing over dinner when he knocked a plate out of her hands. He then allegedly hit her in the head and face several times. He was arraigned before District Judge Ethan Ward on a charge of simple assault and placed in Washington County jail on $25,000 bond.

Forgery charge: Gary E. Harmon Jr., 43, of 680 East Beau St., Washington, was charged by city police with forgery and attempted theft for allegedly cashing a forged check for $600 at Trailblazer FCU on East Wheeling Street Oct. 29. Charges will be sent by summons through the office of District Judge Robert Redlinger.

False ID charges: Nathaniel Johnson, 19, of 1132 Wilmington St., Washington, will be arraigned by District Judge Robert Redlinger via video from the Washington County jail on false ID charges for allegedly giving a false name when he was questioned by city police Saturday in the 300 block of Duncan Avenue. He is in jail on a parole detainer.

Assault charge: Leonard Gordon Baines III, 53, of 910 E. Maiden St., Washington, was charged by city police with aggravated assault for allegedly grabbing an aide at Washington Hospital Oct. 20 and pushing her into the nurse’s station, causing her injury. Charges will be sent by summons through the office of District Judge Robert Redlinger.

Criminal mischief: Ronald Ansel Patterson, 55, of 605 Ewing St., Washington, was charged by city police with criminal mischief and damage to property for allegedly slashing the tires of a vehicle parked on the 600 block of Broad Street Nov. 4. Charges will be sent by summons through the office of District Judge Robert Redlinger.

DUI charge: Charles William Martin Sr., 24, of 22 E. Pitt St., Canonsburg, was charged by city police with giving a false ID and driving under the influence. Police said Martin rear-ended another car Aug. 20 at Henderson and Jefferson avenues. They said Martin admitted to smoking marijuana before driving but refused to submit to chemical testing. Charges will be sent by summons through the office of District Judge Robert Redlinger.

Gun missing: A man reported to city police that his gun was missing from the center console of his truck, which was parked on the 600 block of Donnan Avenue Oct. 30.
