PITTSBURGH (AP) — The owners of Pittsburgh’s Station Square entertainment complex say it’s no longer for sale, and that they’re instead seeking a partner to help develop residences on the site.

Jeffrey Linton, a spokesman for Cleveland-based Forest City Enterprises, said the company “tested the waters” but didn’t find a buyer willing to pay what the owners think Station Square is worth.

Station Square is a dining, office and entertainment complex based on 52 acres that included the former Pittsburgh & Lake Erie railroad terminal along the Monongahela River.

Forest City bought the complex in 1994. In 2002, the group also bought the nearby Sheraton Hotel, which it expanded, while also spending $25 million to upgrade other areas which now house a Hard Rock Cafe, Bar Louie and Joe’s Crab Shack.
