Drug paraphernalia charge: Christopher Nelson, 35, of Eighty Four, was charged by state police with possessing drug paraphernalia for allegedly having empty heroin stamp bags and a used needle in the McDonald’s restaurant on Jefferson Avenue Oct. 26.

Motorcycle accident: A Washington, D.C., man was air-lifted to UPMC-Presbyterian hospital, Pittsburgh, about 2 p.m. Saturday after he wrecked his motorcycle while traveling east on Interstate 70 in Donegal Township, state police said. The highway was shut down for less than 30 minutes. The driver, Piers J. Sellers, 58, was in good condition in the hospital as of Sunday.
