State Rep. Jesse White is partnering with Oakdale Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 7070 to collect donations of personal care items for terminally ill veterans in the area.

White, D-Cecil, also will collect donations of refreshments and clothing, all of which will be distributed before the end of the year to the Veterans Administration’s hospice program.

Personal-care items in need included body wash, denture adhesive, roll-on deodorant, shaving cream, toothbrushes, toothpaste and tissue.

The drive also seeks pudding cups, raisins, coffee, chips, pretzels, crackers, granola bars and grocery store gift cards.

Items can be dropped off at White’s offices at: 3855 Millers Run Road, Cecil; 1425 Burgettstown Plaza, Burgettstown; and 2403 Jefferson Ave., Canton Township.
