CARMICHAELS – Have you ever wanted to use a computer but don’t know where to begin? Or maybe you want to learn a new program for work?

Then call the Flenniken Public Library and sign up for a free computer class. The library now offers hands-on computer training. Because space is limited, you must register by calling 724-966-5263, or stopping by the library.

Each class meets from 1 to 2 p.m. Tuesdays.

The computer classes offered in November and December are:

• Using a Mouse, Nov. 19. Learn how to manipulate a mouse and some of the keyboard keys. This class should be taken before any other classes, unless a participant has prior computer experience

• Microsoft Vista, Nov. 26. Learn how to use the basics of Microsoft Vista.

• Beginning Internet, Dec. 3. Learn how to get online and find the information you need.

• Microsoft Word 2007, Dec. 10. Learn how to use Word to write letters and reports.

Library hours are 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday through Thursday, and 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Friday and Saturday.
