Central Pa. man killed in motorcycle crash

CARLISLE, Pa. (AP) — A central Pennsylvania man was killed when he was thrown off his motorcycle after it struck a large dirt mound.

Middlesex Township police confirmed Sunday that 30-year-old Scott Custer of Etters was killed in the accident.

They say Custer was traveling north on South Middlesex Road around 7:30 p.m. Saturday when the motorcycle crossed into the southbound lane and struck a dirt mound on the berm.

He was pronounced dead at the scene.
