The following people appeared recently for sentencing in Washington County Court.
Appearing before Judge John DiSalle were:
William J. Bonus, 42, of 257 S. Main St., Cambridge Springs; escape; charged March 28, 2004; sentence – 5 years in the Intermediate Punishment Program with the first 9 months on home monitoring, minimum restitution payment of $200 a month.
James R. Sickles III, 40, of 6 Lewis Ave., Washington; theft by unlawful taking; charged June 27; sentence – 23 months in the Restrictive Intermediate Punishment Program, $80 restitution.
Kurt M. Karmann, 22, of 1204 Sunset Drive, Bulger; possession of drug paraphernalia; charged April 11; sentence – 12 months of probation.
Shelby N. Annesi, 22, of 95 Church Road, Imperial; possession of drug paraphernalia, retail theft; charged July 18; sentence – 12 months of probation, no contact with Walmart.
Ronae M. Patterson, 44, of 173 Jollick Manor, Washington; bad checks, three counts of theft by deception; charged Aug. 21, 1995, Feb. 11, 1997, March 10 and June 24, 2009; sentence – 1 to 12 months in jail, $1.061.46 restitution, 12 months of probation, no contact with Converse store or victims.
Paul Klanchar, 28, of 200 High Street, Elco; two counts of burglary, two counts of conspiracy to commit burglary; charged Aug. 15, 2012; sentence – 6 to 23 months in jail with credit for time served, 2 years and 23 months of probation, $5,107.80 restitution, no contact with victim or family.
Michael Beck, 51, of 809 Prospect Ave., Charleroi; possession of drug paraphernalia; charged March 4; sentence – 4 to 12 months on home monitoring.
Robert D. Huggins III, 35, of 340 Moon Road, Washington; two counts of recklessly endangering another person, two counts of criminal mischief; charged Jan. 7, 2010; sentence – 3 to 23 months in jail with work release, 23 months of probation, no contact with victims.
William L. Backner, 49, of 145 Chambers Lane, Canonsburg; two counts of DUI; charged April 11 and May 3; sentence – 12 months in the Intermediate Punishment Program with the first 60 days on SCRAM-X and the second 60 days on SCRAM, $2,000 fine, 24-month license suspension.
Rayna M. Watts, 21, of 245 Malone Ridge Road, Washington; second offense of DUI; charged July 17; sentence – 23 months in the Intermediate Punishment Program with the first 90 days on SCRAM-X followed by 30 days on SCRAM with work release, $1,500 fine, 18-month driver’s license suspension, 12-month ignition interlock.
Steven L. Brown, 42, of P.O. Box 1045, Washington; disorderly conduct; charged May 27, 2012; sentence – 12 months in the Intermediate Punishment Program with the first 3 months on home monitoring and the second month on SCRAM-X.
Chasity L. Kelly, 34, of 390 Duncan Ave., Apt. 1, Washington; promoting prostitution; charged June 13; sentence – 12 months of probation.
Kayleigh D. Thomas, 25, of 786 Baker Hill Road, Washington; second offense of DUI, driving with a suspended license; charged April 28; sentence – 6 months in the Intermediate Punishment Program with the first 30 days on home monitoring with school and medical release, $800 fine, 12-month license suspension, 12-month ignition interlock.
James D. Dulaney, 32, of 294 Potato Run Road, Washington; DUI; charged May 24; sentence – 3 days to 6 months in jail, $1,000 fine, 12-month license suspension.
Peter A. Reid, 26, of 495 Old Scales Road, Washington; DUI, reckless driving; charged April 24; sentence – 3 days to 6 months in jail, $1,200 fine, 18-month license suspension, $1,770 restitution.
Adam M. Johnston, 25, of 240 Kelley Road, Washington; second offense of DUI; charged June 8; sentence – 6 months in the Intermediate Punishment Program with the first 30 days on home monitoring, $750 fine, 12-month license suspension, 12-month ignition interlock.
Bobbie Jo Chiff, 26, of 107 Fannie St., McDonald; two counts of flight to avoid apprehension, possession of drug paraphernalia, resisting arrest, disorderly conduct; charged Jan. 24 and Feb. 26, 2012 and April 4; sentence – 24 months in the Intermediate Punishment Program, which includes 7 months in jail with a minimum of 4 months in an alcohol and other drug therapeutic community, and upon successful completion of the institutional therapeutic community shall serve a minimum of 2 months of placement in a community-based alcohol or other drug therapeutic community followed by a minimum of 6 months of outpatient alcohol and other drug treatment and at least 8 months of supervised reintegration into the community for a total of 24 months, 12 months of probation.
Larry J. Castner, 55, of 520 Tannehill St., Canonsburg; DUI, Tier 3; charged June 23, 2010; sentence – 24 months in the Intermediate Punishment Program, which includes 7 months in jail with a minimum of 4 months in an alcohol and other drug therapeutic community, and upon successful completion of the institutional therapeutic community shall serve a minimum of 2 months in a community-based alcohol and other drug theraputic community followed by 6 months of outpatient alcohol and other drug treatment for a total of 8 months of supervised reintegration into the community for a total of 24 months, $2,500 fine, 18-month license suspension, 12-month ignition interlock.
Donald Snow Jr., 42, of 111 Holly Drive, McMurray; theft from a motor vehicle, possession of a controlled substance; charged Feb. 18; sentence – 3 to 6 months in jail, $58 restitution.
Shawn J. McFarland, 26, of 202 Stark Ave., Unit C, Imperial; disorderly conduct, driving without a license; charged Oct. 20, 2010; sentence – $300 fine.
Admitted to the ARD program for 12 months for a first offense of DUI was Matthew S. Cornell, 25, of 316 Washington Woods Drive, Washington.
