Criminal mischief: Lisa R. Weaverling of 7 Hindman Ave., Burgettstown, told McDonald police Thursday that wires in her telephone box had been cut by vandals.

Two charged: Kydaire T. Glover-Bennett, 18, of Philadelphia, and Khari Tart, 18, of Willow Grove, were charged by California University of Pennsylvania police with disorderly conduct stemming from a disturbance that reportedly started early Sunday at Natali Student Center. After the disturbance, police responded to an area between two residence halls for a fight. Glover-Bennett and Tart are accused of yelling obscenities and struggling with police as officers tried to take them into custody. The two were arraigned before District Judge Joshua Kanalis and placed in Washington County jail on $30,000 bonds.

Warrant arrest: Robboni Asad Ali, 39, of 413 Woodland Ave., Canonsburg, was taken into custody at his home Monday morning by Washington County sheriff’s deputies as a fugitive from justice on charges filed against him by the attorney general’s office in New York. He is wanted on a charge of scheming to defraud. An investigator for the attorney general’s office told deputies they would extradite Ali to New York. Ali was arraigned before District Judge Ethan Ward. He is being held in Washington County jail without bond for 30 days pending extradition.

Garage fire: A blaze caused an estimated $20,000 damage Saturday afternoon to a garage at 227 Albert St. Deputy fire marshal S.L. Jones of the Washington state police determined that the fire was accidental and started at a wood burner inside the garage owned by Virginia Pastorok.

False ID charge: Christina Jean Loecken, 24, of 421 First St., Vestaburg, was arrested late Friday on a warrant obtained by Centerville police stemming from a Sept. 27 traffic stop on Route 40. When stopped for an equipment violation, Loecken reportedly gave her sister’s name to police. They later learned her correct identity and determined she was driving with a suspended license. She was arraigned before District Judge Joshua Kanalis and placed in Washington County jail on $10,000 bond.

Copper stolen from sewer authority: State police said someone cut a hole in a security fence at the Lower 10 Mile Joint Sewer Authority complex on Ridge Street in East Bethlehem Township and stole copper cables from a generator Monday morning.

Diesel fuel stolen: James Fidazzo told McDonald police Wednesday that a large amount of diesel fuel was stolen from a 200-gallon tank in a shed at 357 Washington Pike, Independence.

Trespass, loitering charges: Andrew Edward White, 42, of 970 Fayette St., Washington, was charged Friday by McDonald police with criminal trespass and loitering and prowling at night for reportedly twice entering the apartment of Lucille White, 101 S. McDonald St., McDonald, without permission Nov. 7. The charges will be sent by summons from the office of District Judge Valarie Costanzo.

DUI crash: Quinn R. Krocker, 35, of 47 Belgium Hollow Road, McDonald, was charged Friday by McDonald police with driving under the influence of alcohol and careless driving stemming from a Nov. 6 crash in the 500 block of North Avenue, Midway. Her vehicle went off the road, over a hill, through a yard at 508 North Ave. and hit a concrete flower garden. Police said her blood-alcohol content was almost three times the 0.08 percent limit presumed for intoxication. Charges will be sent from the office of District Judge Gary Havelka.

Bicycle stolen: Lorie Looby of 604 North Ave., Midway, told McDonald police that her son’s bicycle was stolen.

Television, monitor stolen: State police said a television and computer monitor were stolen Thursday from a home in the 600 block of Mingo Park Estates, Nottingham. The homeowner was not identified by police.

PFA violation: William J. Lehner, 71, of 300 Lakeside Drive, Canonsburg, was arrested Saturday afternoon by Peters police for allegedly violating a protection-from-abuse order obtained by his wife, Gloria Lehner. The order bans him from her home at 105 Farmview Place. He told police he was there helping her around the house. He was arraigned before District Judge Joshua Kanalis and placed in Washington County jail on $5,000 bond.

Drug charges: Two counts of possession of drug paraphernalia will be mailed by summons after township police said they found Evan Yanketis, 19, of 5149 Hazel St., Finleyvile, with a blue glass pipe and a clear grinder with suspected marijuana residue in both at 2:18 a.m. Saturday.

Assault, DUI charges: Kenneth Dale Zierden Jr., 23, of 101 Dickson St., Midway, was charged Friday by McDonald police with aggravated assault on a police officer, DUI, careless driving and failure to drive at a safe speed stemming from a Nov. 10 incident at 1204 Sunset Drive, Robinson. Police had been called to the home for a disturbance. Zierdan left the house and got into a vehicle. When police approached, they said he accelerated and nearly hit an officer’s foot. His BAC was almost double the 0.08 percent limit presumed for intoxication, police said.

Attempted escape: Washington County sheriff’s deputies said Eric D. Richards, 19, of 116 Blaine St., North Franklin, tried to run from authorities while in the county courthouse for a hearing Monday morning. Deputies said Richards was escorted from Courtroom No. 2 shortly before 10 a.m. to use the bathroom when he tried to escape. Authorities inside the courthouse were able to stop Richards, and he was charged with escape and disorderly conduct, according to court records filed at District Judge Robert Redlinger’s office.

Woman assaulted: Melvin J. Anderson, 48, of 363 Hawthorn Road, Claysville, is charged by city police in a summons filed Monday with simple assault, accused of striking and throwing a beer can at woman while she was driving with him in the vehicle about 3:30 p.m. Oct. 15 at Jefferson Avenue and Chestnut Street.
