Concerns about security in the wake of school shootings around the country have prompted changes for those attending the Town Hall South lecture series in Upper St. Clair High School.

Members of the audience are only permitted to be in the theater lobby, the theater and the nearby rest rooms. No one is permitted to leave the theater using the front exits. Everyone must exit through the rear doors.

Lectures will be adjusted to avoid audience members mingling with students changing classes.

Unlike in past years, the 2013-14 lecture series is not sold out. Tickets, at a pro-rated cost, are available at www.townhallsouth.org. Pamplets also are available at Upper St. Clair Library.

Remaining speakers are Eric Greiten, Nov. 5; Zany Minton-Beddoes, Dec. 3; Gary Small, Feb. 4; and Wes Moon, March 4.
