Fire destroys Morris barn

Fire destroyed a barn Wednesday on the Hildreth farm off of Patterson Creek Road in Morris Township.

Waynesburg/Franklin Township Fire Chief Jeff Marshall said hay and equipment inside also were lost in the fire that began around 1:30 p.m.

Marshall said the fire did not look suspicious but he did not have a cause.

Also responding were fire companies from Center Township, Richhill Township, Morris Township and West Finley in Washington County.
