PennDOT announces bridge inspections

PennDOT District 12 has announced that crews will be performing inspections Monday through Thursday on Interstate 70 bridges that span Route 1009 (Locust Avenue) and Route 19 (Murtland Avenue).
Although no lane restrictions will occur on the interstate, the work will require lane restrictions on both Route 1009 and Route 19. All ramps between the interstate and Route 19 will remain open. Minor ramp and lane restrictions will be in place at the Route 19 interchange from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday and Tuesday.
The inspection work is expected to take two days at each location, and PennDOT asks that motorists exercise caution when traveling in those areas.
