Cornerstone Genealogical Society will meet at 7 p.m. today in the log courthouse on Greene Street. Clayton Kilgore of Washington, dressed as Dr. Francis LeMoyne, will talk about the Underground Railroad. The public is invited. Also, tickets for the holiday dinner meeting in November are available now for $20. Tickets will not be sold at the door.

A square dance, also line dancing, polkas, cake walk and more, will be held from 7 to 10 p.m. Friday at Rogersville Fire Hall. Caller will be Dave Dahl. Cost is $5 per person or $8 per couple. Food and drinks will be served beginning at 6:30 p.m. The event benefits the Center Township Volunteer Fire Department. For more information, call 724-499-5385.
