AMBRIDGE (AP) – A man was jailed on charges he stabbed a bar owner and two others, as is the suspect’s uncle who is accused of punching someone during the same fracas during a battle-of-the-bands event at a western Pennsylvania bar.

Online court records do not list attorneys for the stabbing suspect, 23-year-old Armando Encinas, who is charged with aggravated assault and attempted homicide, or his uncle, 37-year-old Michael Landeros, who is charged with simple assault and disorderly conduct.

Harmony Township police said the stabbings occurred about 1:30 a.m. Sunday at Ba’Runi, a bar about 25 miles northwest of Pittsburgh.

Police said the men, who recently moved to nearby Baden from Maryland, argued with customers who were wearing Pittsburgh Steelers and Penguins shirts.

Police said Encinas stabbed a customer, the bar owner who intervened, then another employee.
