The 20th Century Club of Waynesburg will hold a Ladies Night membership drive at 7 p.m. Thursday at First Christian Church. All interested women in Greene County are invited to have facials, manicures, make-up applications and massages. Women can learn what the organization is about and what part it plays within the community. The hostesses will be MaChal Forbes and Michelle Pulkownik. The normal business meeting starts at 6 p.m. for members.
The Carmichaels Women’s Civic Club is trying to locate all past girls of the month in celebration of the club’s 75th anniversary. The club is in need of the names of the girls of the month from the 1940s, ’50s, ’60s and ’70s. Anyone who had been selected as a girl of the month by the Carmichaels Women’s Club is asked to call 724-966-2486.
The Disabled American Veterans van, which used to pick veterans up at the McDonald’s restaurant in Morrisville, is now picking up veterans at the Burger King Restaurant on Route 21. The times remain unchanged. Veterans are asked to park at the front side of the lot facing Route 21 on the eastern end.
