Route 136 bridge to close

A bridge on a section of Route 136 will be closed and detoured so that it can be replaced. The bridge is approximately two miles east of Route 519 and near Brownlee Road.
The bridge will be closed at 7 a.m. Oct. 14 through Nov. 14. A marked detour will be in place.
The contractor on this $2.8 million contract that replaces five bridges is Swank Construction Co. of New Kensington.
