Valley Chapel Church of Brock, 139 Church Run Road, Spraggs, will hold its annual turkey supper beginning at 5 p.m. today. The meal, which is served family style, will include turkey, mashed potatoes, sweet potatoes, green beans, dressing, gravy, cole slaw, pumpkin pie and gingerbread. Cost is $12 for adults, and $6 for children 12 and under. Takeouts are available.

Rolling Meadows Church of God, 595 Rolling Meadows Road, Waynesburg, will hold a flea market and bake sale from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. today, rain or shine. A creamed chicken and biscuit dinner will be served from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Takeouts are available. For more information, call 724-627-9430.

A pancake breakfast will be held from 7 to 11 a.m. today at Hewitt Presbyterian Church to support Cub Scout Pack 1168. All meals include sausage, all-you-can-eat blueberry, chocolate chip or buttermilk pancakes, juice and coffee. Cost is $7 for adults and $4 for children. Kids under 2 eat free.

A free clothing and household item giveaway will be held at First Christian Church of Carmichaels, 235 S. Market St., from 9 a.m. to noon today. The event is sponsored by the church.

The annual veteran’s reunion for the Waynesburg Unit of the Pennsylvania National Guard will be held from noon to 2 p.m. today at Waynesburg American Legion, 676 E. High St. All former and present members are invited, including the former Canonsburg Unit. Food and refreshments will be available.

Country music will be featured from 7 to 10 p.m. today in the New Freeport fire hall. Bands scheduled to appear are Plumm Lost and Betty Rielks. Admission is $4 and the event is sponsored by the ladies auxiliary.

A baked steak dinner will be held Sunday, beginning at 11:30 a.m., at Blacksville Senior Center. Takeouts are available by calling 304-432-8177. The menu will include baked steak, mashed potatoes, green beans, cole slaw, rolls, dessert, coffee or tea. The costs is $8 for adults and $5 for children 12 and younger.

The regular meeting of the Greene County Farmland Preservation Board, scheduled for 1 p.m. Wednesday, has been canceled.

Southwest Regional Medical Center, in conjunction with the American Red Cross, will hold a blood drive from 1 to 7 p.m. Oct. 30 in the Guesman Room on the second floor of the medical center. A spaghetti dinner and poker run will be held Oct. 27 to benefit the Sue Roupe Cancer Fund. Registration for the poker run will be from 9 to 11 a.m. at the Greene County Airport. The cost is $20 for riders and $10 for passengers. A spaghetti dinner and Chinese auction will be held from noon to 6 p.m. in the Jefferson fire hall. The cost is $8 for adults and $4 for children.
