A man accused of being drunk while riding his bicycle on Route 19 in Peters Township more than two years ago was found guilty on a lesser charge Friday morning.

Acting Washington County Judge Edward Borkowski reduced a driving under the influence charge against John A. Pardini, 45, of Upper St. Clair, to disorderly conduct and also found him guilty of public drunkenness and failure to have proper lighting on his bicycle.

Borkowski ordered Pardini to pay $225 for the three guilty counts.

Peters Township police said they stopped Pardini in the 2800 block of Route 19 on June 6, 2011, after they saw him riding his bicycle in circles in the southbound lanes. Police said he resisted arrest and yelled obscenities at the officers during the incident.
