COLUMBUS, Ohio (AP) — An Ohio man who left the scene of a car crash that resulted in the deaths of two women and an unborn child has been sentenced to seven years in prison.

The Columbus Dispatch (http://bit.ly/1bMacEX ) on Friday reported that 30-year-old Paul Riggs was sentenced on charges of aggravated vehicular homicide, aggravated vehicular assault and failure to stop at the scene of the crash. Riggs had pleaded guilty to all charges.

The June 24 crash killed 35-year-old Tina Ogier and her unborn child and a passenger, 19-year-old Mary Jane Cooper, all of Beaver, Ohio, and injured a 14-year-old male passenger.

The car driven by Ogier caught fire after the crash. The newspaper reports Riggs remained at large for more than a week.

Court records do not list an attorney for Riggs.
