PHILADELPHIA (AP) – Police have arrested a man they say is responsible for firing an AK-47 into a Philadelphia strip club back in May.

The Philadelphia Inquirer said a tipster led police to 22-year-old Henry Pettigrew at a house in the city’s Grays Ferry neighborhood. He was taken into custody without incident Wednesday.

Police Lt. James Walker said Pettigrew awaits arraignment on multiple counts of attempted murder, aggravated assault, reckless endangerment and weapons charges.

Investigators said the shooting happened after Pettigrew and a friend were kicked out of the Purple Orchid strip club about 2 a.m. after a dispute with a bouncer.

Surveillance video recorded a man running through the parking lot with an AK-47, throwing open the front door and firing into the club.

Only one person suffered minor injuries.
