BRISTOL (AP) – An eastern Pennsylvania woman has been jailed on charges that she endangered her two young children by leaving them behind when she allegedly fled the scene after crashing her vehicle into parked cars while driving drunk.

Online court records don’t list an attorney for 34-year-old Jamie Lynn Wilkinson, who was arrested shortly after the crashes about 8 p.m. Saturday in Bristol.

Police say the Bensalem woman was drunk while her children, who were 18 and 6 months old, were in the vehicle. Witnesses say Wilkinson ran away after the crash, so neighbors grabbed the children and cared for them until police arrived.

Wilkinson told the district judge who arraigned her early Sunday that she has four children. She remained in the Bucks County prison Monday, unable to post bond.
