Reservations are now being taken for state Sen. Tim Solobay’s holiday tour of the state capital area.

“The holiday bus tour is a great opportunity for constituents to visit Harrisburg and see some of the popular sites in the region,” Solobay said. Solobay began hosting the tours during his tenure in the state House.

This year’s tour, scheduled for Dec. 11, will include stops at the Governor’s Mansion, the Capitol building and Hershey Chocolate World. A hot lunch will be served at the Capitol and is included in the $65 ticket price. There will be entertainment on board, along with prizes, Solobay said.

Pick-up locations include: Greene Plaza in Waynesburg, Canonsburg Shop ‘n Save, J. Barry Stout park-and-ride in Washington, and Pilot gas station in Bentleyville.

Those interested in going along can contact Sen. Solobay’s Washington satellite office at 724-223-2114.
