Several plead guilty in county court

WAYNESBURG – Several criminal defendants pleaded guilty Wednesday before Greene County Judge Farley Toothman. They included:

John Regis Grim, 26, of 120 Pigeon Hole Road, Mt. Morris: offenses – driving under the influence of alcohol, second offense; a summary traffic violation; stopped by state police for speeding on Interstate 79 on April 1, Grim had a blood-alcohol content of 0.213 percent; sentence – he will be sentenced following the preparation of a pre-sentence report.

Travis L. Eisiminger, 30, 1712 Morris St., Waynesburg; offenses – DUI, second offense; four summary traffic violations; stopped for a traffic violation on Route 21 in Franklin Township on May 11, Eisiminger had a BAC of 0.195 percent; sentence – he will be sentenced following the preparation of a pre-sentence report.

Joseph James Dean II, 24, of 254 Haines Road, Carmichaels; offenses – theft, criminal trespass, conspiracy, possession of instruments of crime, criminal mischief; Dean and another man stole copper wire from a West Penn Power substation in Whiteley Township on June 8; state police responded to the scene after the men tripped a motion alarm; sentence – 30 days to 23 ½ month in jail; $1,250 in fines; 300 hours of community service; $1,000 restitution to West Penn Power.

Felicia Crystal Walters, 27, of 110 Bliss Ave., Nemacolin; offenses – 10 counts each of possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver, conspiracy to possess a controlled substance with intent to deliver and possession of a controlled substance; six counts of criminal use of a communications facility; between Nov. 21, 2012, and March 28, Walters and another man sold crack cocaine and marijuana to a confidential informant working the drug task force; the sales took place at her home and at a house in Masontown; sentence – she will be sentenced following the preparation of a pre-sentence report.

John Theodore Vance, 41, of 535 Heisterburg St., East Millsboro; offenses – DUI, driving while his operating privileges are suspended or revoked and 16 summary traffic violations; arrested Feb. 26, Vance had a BAC of 0.206 percent; sentence – 93 days to six month in jail, $2,435 in fines, 150 hours of community service.

Nichole Whitney Cargill, 19, of 340 E. Lincoln St., Waynesburg; offenses – two counts each of forgery and conspiracy, one count of theft; Aug. 27, 2012, she and Alex David Wood cashed an altered check issued on an account of her grandparents for $145.25; on Feb. 28, she cashed a forged check on an account of another man for $170; sentence – seven years of probation, $400 in fines, 325 hours of community service; restitution.

Alex David Wood, 21, of 858 Long Run Road, Holbrook; offenses – pleaded no contest to forgery, theft, conspiracy and receiving stolen property; Aug. 27, 2012, Wood and Nicole Whitney Cargill cashed an altered check issued on an account of Cargill’s grandparents for $145.25; sentence – 18 months of probation, $300 fine, 300 hours of community service, restitution.
