The Meadows Racetrack & Casino on Friday said it relocated its new poker room to the main casino floor, adjacent to The Terrace restaurant, creating a new banquet space for large events and venues on the lower level.

The casino said in a press release the new poker room will feature 15 tables and will now allow customers access to menu service from The Terrace. The new poker room opened to guests Friday. The banquet area will open Sept. 15.

The banquet space will be used for player development events, meetings, parties, weddings and company events. It will accommodate as many as 300 guests at a seated dinner and as many as 500 guests in a theater setting.

The most recent enhancements follow the conclusion of a $25 million expansion project that occurred over the last 24 months and included a new parking garage, access road improvements and the purchase of adjacent property an upcoming project.
