Numerous people appeared in Washington County Court recently on criminal charges. Appearing before Judge Katherine Emery were:

Sandy A. Ferrari, 42, of 232 Cadwallader St., Brownsville; retail theft; charged May 19 and March 25; 18 months of probation and no contact with Walmart in South Strabane Township.

Cody Ganelle Neely, 42, of Jane Lew, W.Va.; possession of drug paraphernalia; charged Sept. 20; 12 months of probation, drug and alcohol counseling.

Christopher Johnson, of New Stanton; theft by deception; charged April 6, 2009; 12 months of probation, $396 restitution.

Appearing before Judge John DiSalle were:

Jason Swoger, 41, of 291 Route 481 Fredericktown; theft; charged May 20, 2012; 3 to 23 months of home monitoring, $400 restitution.

Amber Lee Barrows, 22, of 2740 ½ Jefferson Ave., Washington; theft; charged Oct. 18, 2011; 6 to 18 months of home monitoring, $2,600 in restitution and no contact with victims or co-defendants.

Matthew C. McDonald, 20, of 498 Park Ave., Washington; simple assault; charged April 4, 2012; 1 year of probation and restitution to the victim.

Heather Lynn Davidson, 37, of Natrona Heights; two counts each of theft and conspiracy; June 27 and July 13, 2012; 6 to 12 months home monitoring and $1,731 restitution to the victims.

Crystal M. Ross, 29, of 84 Robert Lane, Canonsburg; Aug. 19, 2012; theft; 12 months of probation and court costs.

Danielle Zemko, 25, of 3038 Provost Road, Pittsburgh; driving under the influence of alcohol and possession of drug paraphernalia; charged March 2 and 13, 2012; 48 hours to 6 months in jail, 12 months of probation, $500 fine.

Thomas P. Allen Sr., 30, of 3076 W. Chestnut St., Washington; false reports to police and three counts of retail theft; charged Sept 30 andApril 11; 12 months of probation, $291 in restitution, no contact with Walmart.

Hassan Saadaeed Alamri, 29, of 22 Thayer St., Washington; simple assault and terroristic threats; charged Feb. 24; 1 to 12 months in jail, 3 months of home monitoring and 2 years of probation.

Brian S. Bergstedt, 40, of 222 S. Allen Ave., Donora; retail theft; charged May 16, 2012; 1 to 12 months on home monitoring.

Samuel R. Bruno II, of 50 Boyce St., Lawrence; theft; charged Aug. 19, 2012; 6 to 12 months in jail, followed by three months of home monitoring and restitution.

Robert L. Herring, 29, of 119 Crane Road, Claysville; three counts of possession of a prohibited firearm; charged Sept. 28; 6 to 23 months in jail with work release, prohibited from having firearms.

Samantha D. Scagline, 21, of 916 McKean Ave., Charleroi; false identification to police; charged Oct. 21; 12 months of probation.

Appearing before Judge Edward Borkowski were:

Richard V. Brown, 48, of 64 E. Main St., West Middletown; harassment; charged June 8; 12 months of probation, no contact with victim.

Ryan T. Bachurski, 20, of 510 Madison Ave., Brownsville; simple assault; charged June 28; 12 months of probation, no contact with victim.

Jeffrey A. Martin, 49, of 1133 Prospect Ave., Charleroi; defiant trespass; charged June 4; $300 fine, no contact with victim.

Thomas A. Dailey, 43, of 331 Ridge Point Circle, Bridgeville; possession of drug paraphernalia; charged Nov. 14; 12 months of probation.

Jordan N. Lagruth, 20, of 100 E. Second St., Grindstone; marijuana possession and simple assault; charged Feb. 17 and June 28; 2 years of probation, no contact with victim.
