The annual Town-Wide Yard Sale will begin at 8 a.m. Saturday in Rogersville. The Center Township Volunteer Fire Department auxiliary will sell food and drinks beginning at 9 a.m. Table space available in fire hall parking lot at $5 a table. The auxiliary will accept donations of “sellable” items. To reserve table space, or for additional information, call 724-833-0180 or 724-499-5385.

The next monthly support group meeting for friends and relatives of those who suffer from substance abuse of any kind will be at 7 p.m. Tuesday in the basement of the Jefferson Baptist Church, 179 Pine St. in Jefferson. This is a gathering where friends and relatives who are struggling with how to deal with their loved ones’ addictions can share experiences. West Greene Quarterback Club will meet at 6 p.m. Tuesday at the high school.

Morgan Township Society of Farm Women will meet at noon Wednesday at the home of Audrey Jacobs. Beverly Hurd will have devotions. Those attending are asked to being a covered dish. Roll call will be answered to, “Have you noticed the blooming golden rod?” This Saturday, the Cumberland Township Society of Farm Women will meet at noon at the Fairdale Inn. The Morgan and Whiteley societies have been invited to attend.
