Greene County Pomona Grange will meet at 3 p.m. Saturday in the East Franklin Grange Hall. A covered-dish meal will follow the meeting. East Franklin is providing the dinner and Harvey’s Aleppo, Carmichaels and New Freedom will provide desserts.

Country music will be featured from 7 to 10 p.m. Saturday in the New Freeport Fire Hall. Bands scheduled to appear are John Daughtery and Dave Clark. Cost is $4 and the event is sponsored by the ladies auxiliary.

Waynesburg High School Classes of 1955 and 1956 will hold a mini-reunion at 4 p.m. Saturday at The Lodge (formerly Rohanna’s).

First Assembly of God, 4131 West Roy Furman Highway, Eastview, will be honoring area first responders at the 10 a.m. Sunday worship service. All Greene County first responders and their families have been invited to the service and to a ribs and chicken barbeque on the church grounds following to show appreciation for their services to our communities.
