Waynesburg High School Class of 1954 will hold a get-together this weekend, beginning at 4:30 p.m. Friday at Sorella’s Pizza in Mt. Morris. The class will meet at 5 p.m. Saturday at the Greenside Grill at the Greene County Country Club. For more information, call Dena Schultz at 724-627-9627.

The Carmichaels Women’s Civic Club will meet at 6 p.m. Oct. 3 in the the Carmichaels Methodist Church Fellowship Hall. Guest speaker will be Master Laura Beluschak of the American Judo-Hapkido Institute of Waynesburg. Beluscak will speak about the benefits of the martial arts lifestyle as well as demonstrate techniques used in this Korean system of self-defense and self-improvement. All members are asked to attend this meeting and to bring a guest, as well as items for the food bank, women’s shelter, Salvation Army and the military program. New members are welcome.

Jefferson Township will hold a cleanup day from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. Oct. 5. Residents can bring items to the township building.
