BULLSKIN, Pa. (AP) — State police say a woman and her 7-year-old daughter were killed and two other young children injured in a head-on collision with a truck on a western Pennsylvania road.

Police in Fayette County say the crash happened at about 8 a.m. Wednesday in Bullskin.

Authorities said 26-year-old Angela Thomas of Connellsville was pronounced dead at the scene by Deputy Coroner Jessie Camilli.

The Allegheny County coroner’s office said Myah Worley was flown to Children’s Hospital in Pittsburgh, where she was pronounced dead.

Two other children in Thomas’ car, ages 2 and 5, were taken for treatment at the same hospital, where their conditions weren’t immediately available.

Police are investigating the cause of the crash.
