Marianna, West Beth to present joint plan

Marianna Borough and West Bethlehem Township will hold an open house next week to present their vision for how to better plan for potential growth.
The meeting involves a comprehensive plan the towns have developed to also preserve their rural character and agricultural heritage, while also addressing areas of decline, said Amy Wiles, a senior planner for Mackin Engineering Co. of Pittsburgh, the consultant on the project.
The meeting is designed to gather feedback on issues also involving land use, transportation, parks and housing from the public before the plan is finalized.
The meeting will be held from 6 to 8 p.m.Wednesday iat the Marianna Volunteer Fire Co. Social Hall, 84 Broad St.
