Disorderly conduct: Kathleen Metz, 49, of Jefferson, was charged by state police with disorderly conduct for allegedly yelling obscenities at Jefferson-Morgan High School while students were present Thursday.

Store robbed: A man who claimed to have a gun robbed the Rite Aid on Jefferson Avenue Saturday, according to city police. Police said the man stole an unknown amount of cash and narcotics and then fled from the area.
