‘Haunting’ planned at Mother Earth Farm

WAYNESBURG – Mother Earth Farm, 610 Apple Hill Road, Waynesburg, is celebrating the fall season with a haunted house and orchard rides from 7 to 9 p.m. each Friday and Saturday in October.
For the cost of $5 visitors will journey through the haunted orchard on an old-fashioned hayride. Guests may choose to visit the haunted barn for $5 or a combined ticket for $8. Children under 3 are free.
In addition, on Sundays only, there will be an all-ages hayride from 2 to 4 p.m. Group rates and private party arrangements can be made by contacting Dawn at 724-986-1550.
Mother Earth Farm is a natural grower of bedding plants, annuals, herbs, house plants, perennials and veggie plants in pots, packs and baskets in Ruff Creek. It also providse trees, shrubs and fruit trees and natural and organic fertilizers. Mother Earth Farm has been in operation since 2005.
It is a no-spray facility and uses beneficial insects to control pests on their crops.
