Rite Aid is offering a $2,000 reward to anyone who provides information that leads to the conviction of a man who robbed the store on Jefferson Avenue Saturday around 4:30 p.m.

City police said the suspect handed a note to an employee and demanded that the safe be opened, which the employee was unable to open because it was on a timer. The employee and suspect then walked to the pharmacy, where the suspect allegedly demanded adderall and took an unknown amount of cash from the register. The suspect told shoppers to get on the ground and don’t look up, or they would be blown away, according to the police report. He then allegedly left the store carrying a bag and walked toward Cigarette City. Police searched the area, but could not find the suspect. Police said he was wearing a green baseball cap, white-rimmed sunglasses, a black shirt, a green-gray hoodie and dark jeans.
