United Way’s ‘Greene Cuisine’ event to be held in Waynesburg

WAYNESBURG – Greene County United Way will present “Greene Cuisine” from 6 to 8 p.m. April 14 at the PA Army National Guard Readiness Center, 500 EverGreene Drive in Waynesburg. Admission is $25.
Music will be provided by Waynesburg University’s Chamber Works Ensembles, and there will be wine tasting by Thistlethwaite Vineyard.
“Join us for Greene County’s ultimate taste test. We are so excited to present our first “Greene Cuisine” event. This is a great opportunity to pull together and show off our many food establishments’ greatest hidden talents,” said Barbara Wise, executive director. Sample cuisine from local talented chefs representing Buy Local – Buy Greene, Grounds n Rounds, Hot Rod’s House of BBQ, Hungarian Smokehouse, Seasons on the Greene, Sorellas Pizzeria, Stokes General Store, Subway Restaurant, The Lodge at Rohanna’s and a chocolate fountain by Trisha’s Treats.
Prizes include restaurant gift certificates, wine and spirits, “Scott Bridge” canvas print, pamper me basket, lottery Easter basket, Vera Bradley package, entertainment package, week stay in Colorado, Steeler package including four tickets, team autographed football and autographed mini helmet and photo by Brett Keisel, and a golf package from eight area courses, including Stonewall Resort and Nemacolin Country Club.
