Emergency personnel respond after man jumps from bridge

Fire departments, police and emergency personnel from at least two townships responded before 4 p.m. Monday, after a man jumped from a bridge on the Montour Trail near the border with Peters and Cecil townships. A medical helicopter was called to an area on the golf course of Valley Brook Country Club.

Emergency responders had difficulty reaching the remote location.
