Daughter charged with assault on mother

State police charged a Waynesburg woman Saturday with assaulting her mother at her home at 543 Dairy Farm Road, Whiteley Township.
According to police, Lacey Ann Lee, 32, of 535 Dairy Farm Road, was intoxicated when she arrived at the home of Donna Elizabeth Stone, 52, and began choking her.
Lee’s sister, Ariel Brook Henry, 19, told police she was upstairs when she heard the altercation taking place. Henry said she came downstairs and tried to intervene on her mother’s behalf. Lee and Henry fought and during the scuffle Henry sustained a scratch on her cheek. According to a criminal complaint, Stone told police she was not injured.
Lee was arraigned before Greene County District Judge Lee Watson. She is free on $2,000 unsecured bail. Her preliminary hearing is scheduled for 2:15 p.m. April 23.
