Several admitted to ARD program

Several criminal defendants were admitted to the Accelerated Rehabilitative Disposition program this week.
Those accepted into the program must serve at least one year of probation and pay all fines and costs.
Defendants who enter the program charged with driving under the influence of alcohol also may have their driving privileges suspended and be required to refrain from the use or possession of alcohol.
Those who successfully complete the program can petition the court to have their criminal records expunged. Admitted were:
Donald P. Anthony, 21, of 744 Days Run Road, Tarentum, charged with DUI and a summary traffic violation. Police stopped Anthony Sept. 8 in Waynesburg for driving without his vehicle’s headlights turned on. His blood-alcohol content was 0.124 percent. License suspended for 30 days.
Nathan Ryan Phillips, 19, and John Allen Cooke Jr., 18, both of 109 Blacks Creek Road, Wind Ridge, charged with defiant trespass and criminal mischief. The two were charged with breaking a window Oct. 7 at the home of Mike Zeglin, 453 Edgar Road in Center Township.
Charles Hodgson, 21, of 195 Willow Road, Waynesburg, charged with theft by unlawful taking or disposition and receiving stolen property. Hodgson was arrested Aug. 24 when police found him in possession of a clutch purse owned by Synthia Montgomery who reported the purse stolen from 392 N. West Street, Waynesburg.
Gregory M. Katchmark, 21, of 3236 W. Roy Furman Highway, Rogersville, charged with driving under the influence of alcohol. Katchmark was involved in an accident Aug. 30 in Waynesburg. His BAC was 0.172 percent. License suspended for 60 days.
Amanda Elaine Johnson, 35, of 2573 E. Roy Furman Highway, Carmichaels, charged with driving under the influence of alcohol. Johnson was pulled over at Route 21 and Ceylon Road after crossing the center line on Route 21 in Cumberland Township multiple times. Her BAC was 0.216 percent. License suspended for 60 days.
John William Pierce, 64, of 122 Kurans Road, Carmichaels, charged with driving under the influence of alcohol. Stopped by police Sept. 2. His BAC was 0.166 percent. License suspended for 60 days.
Kody Ryan Decker, 21, of 229 Decker Road, Carmichaels, charged with driving under the influence of alcohol. Decker was stopped on Rocky Run Road Oct. 27 with his headlights turned off. His BAC was 0.198 percent. License suspended for 60 days.
Zachary Joseph Schloemer, 23, of Brave, charged with driving under the influence of alcohol. Schloemer was stopped by police Sept. 14 for an inoperable taillight while driving west on Route 21 near Scotty’s Pizza in Waynesburg. His BAC was 0.125 percent. License suspended for 30 days.
